About the Bridgeport Juniorettes

latricia logo resized.png

The Bridgeport Juniorettes Club is composed of young women in middle and high school with an age range from 12 to 18 years old. The goal of the Juniorettes is to provide young ladies with an opportunity to participate in service projects that make a positive impact on our community while helping them to develop social awareness and global consciousness.

Being a member of the Juniorettes also helps the girls to gain self-confidence, develop leadership skills and make new friends. A few of their annual community service projects include sponsoring and volunteering with the Challenger League baseball teams, volunteering at the Clarksburg Mission, singing Christmas carols to patients at the local veteran’s hospital and assisting with Relay for Life.

The Bridgeport Juniorettes are part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and GFWC West Virginia, and is sponsored by the Bridgeport Junior Woman’s Club.

The Juniorettes have been limited with activities this year, however, they have continued to make an impact in the community. The Juniorettes have collected donations for the Humane Society and personal care items for the residents of Rosewood Nursing Home.

For information on how to join the Juniorettes, feel free to email at bridgeportjuniorettes@gmail.com or visit their Facebook page.
